How to Prepare for Your Psychic Reading

Many people visit psychics, astrologers, mediums and Tarot readers to have a private session in search of answers. Sometimes the reading they receive is spot on, and at other times, less so. A psychic reading is a session between the reader and YOU. If you are not prepared, the session may not be as successful as it could be. Why should you be getting ready for your meeting with the psychic? By preparing yourself prior to your reading, you will ensure that your reading is better, clearer and more useful.
There are certain steps that you may take to receive a helpful session. These steps will aid the psychic to provide solutions that you are in search of for your life issues.
- Decide on the life issue(s) that you want to discuss.
There are many areas of your life that you may need guidance on. By choosing what you would like to cover during your session, you will have a better experience. When you tell the reader that you want a “general” reading, they may not pick up on what is most important to you. State what you need to know at the beginning of the reading.
- Write your questions down and in the order of priority.
If you have multiple areas that you would like to cover during your session, write them down. This is your outline for your reading. Many psychics schedule further out from your call to arrange a session, or you may feel nervous or fearful. Both of these scenarios may cause you to forget when you are sitting in front of the reader.
- Only ask the questions that you are ready to hear the answers about.
If you are unsure of what you may hear, or if you are not willing to hear a negative answer, then do not ask the question! Real psychics will not tell you what YOU want to hear, they will tell you what they are seeing or feeling about your question. Be prepared for a realistic response, not the fantasy that you are hoping so hard for.
- Bring photos of the living people that you want to discuss.
If you want additional information about a specific person, a psychic may obtain more details by viewing the photo of that person. Bring one with you or have it ready to view on your phone.
- Ask your deceased loved ones to join you at your meeting. State your request PRIOR to your appointment.
Mediums are not God; we cannot push a button and make your deceased loved one magically appear during the exact moment of your reading. They need a heads up sometimes – so ask them to appear on the date and time of your session. This is especially helpful if you are looking to connect with two or more loved ones in Spirit.
- Bring a photo or piece of jewelry of the deceased person that you want to connect with.
Some mediums are physical – they need an object to connect to the energy of your loved one. Take that photo of them or their jewelry or watch with you so that the medium may hold it to call upon them.
- Be OPEN to what you may hear during your psychic reading.
A psychic does not know what they will be saying to you until that moment you are sitting in front of them or on the phone. The act of allowing yourself to receive their intuitive guidance or messages from Spirit, the stronger your session with that reader will be for you.
Following these steps will assist you in obtaining clarity about your life issues from the psychic. The psychic wants to enlighten you, help them to assist you! Allow yourself to participate in a more useful session during your next psychic reading.
